Free After School Child Care
YDP provides a safe environment with  active recreation and enrichment for children of all ages. ERE provides two programs with on-site supervision. To enroll in YDP or YS, please call the main office, visit the desk under the lunch pavilion or email Ms. Cristina.

Kids Hope USA is a national mentoring program offered as an afterschool program at Eagle Rock Elementary (since the 2007-2008 school year). Children are selected and nominated for the program by the school and teachers. Each student in the program meets one-on-one with a mentor from the community.

ERE PTA
​After-school Clubs

Clubs meet after school for 8-10 week cycles. Every effort is made to assign students to their first choice, but space may be limited. Parents are responsible for their children at the end of the scheduled time.

Youth Development Program
YDP

The Youth Development Program is one of the best afterschool programs in the nation. It is offered through the Beyond the Bell branch of the Los Angeles School District and is designed to expose children to a variety of educational and fun activities with a professional staff fueled to motivate and inspire greatness in children. YDP is where all children experience success!
  • Structured and supervised
  • Services students in K-6
  • Space is limited so enroll early
  • Students must attend daily 2:35-6:00
  • Sign-in and sign-out required daily
  • Homework block
  • Academic enrichment
  • Snack provided on-site
  • Structured recreation block
  • The program is provided free of charge

Youth Services
​YS

The Beyond the Bell (BTB) Branch Youth Services Section provides an after school safe haven for children in grades 2-6. Trained supervisors plan and conduct the program each day after school for students at Eagle Rock Elementary. This program is provided free-of-charge to participants. Expanded program hours are provided on minimum days.

  • The program operates 2:35-6:00
  • Homework support
  • 3 structured recreation activities
  • Snack is provided on-site
  • Student sign-in is required and students are advised to communicate with a coach upon leaving
