Dear Eagle Rock Families,
Thank you to everyone that participated so enthusiastically in our Popcorn Sale; we have a team busy checking orders and counting money to submit. Thank you also to those that made donations directly to the math materials. Once I have a total on the popcorn, the donations, and the Buster Balloon Show I’ll share the good news with you!

Informational meeting open to all curious parents. This year approximately 20 of our teachers are piloting the new report card that will be used District-wide next year. All student records this year will be on the old report card, but we are gathering feedback from sample groups about the new report card. Come find out more! Join the District representative in Room 13 from 1:30-2:30pm

Annual Fall Festival – after school on the playground from 3:00-5:00. Tickets for booths can be bought in advance before school on the playground or at the event. Please save costume wearing for the festival and not during the school day – and no weapons or inappropriate masks. This is always a wonderful time to see our whole community together – hope to see you there!
School Greening Project
This past weekend the Los Angeles Beautification Team had student volunteers planting trees and plants in our Learning Garden and it looks spectacular! We are awaiting delivery of boulders for the garden, and then we can open it up! Sod is getting a final roll and inspection mid week. Thank you everyone for your patience and shared excitement.
Lastly, it’s that time of year when the Lost & Found starts growing out of control. Please come check for lost belongings because in early November it will be collected and donated.
Thank you and have a wonderful evening!
